Sac Modern presents: Give into the Groove 2018! This year we're back hosting our 4th annual charity showcase! A portion of proceeds will go to support the non-profit The Emiliani Project! The Emiliani Project is a 501(c)3 charity that protects, nurtures, and educates orphaned and abandoned children to help them live healthy and fulfilling lives. Through partnerships with local charities and foundations in multiple countries, The Emiliani Project will work to break the cycle of poverty and abuse for generations to come. Without assistance, these children are faced with dire poverty and physical abuse. We will work tirelessly to break this cycle for as many kids as possible. The Emiliani Project will also facilitate cross-cultural exchange programs between Colombian children, U.S children and potentially children from other countries. Colombian children will have an opportunity to form relationships with children throughout the world and be inspired to think beyond their immediate world. These programs will help Colombian children develop a sense of what it means to be a world citizen. The Colombian children will also be inspired by knowing other children care about them and want to be part of their lives. In the end, we want all children to broaden their cultural horizons and feel that they can make a difference in people’s lives, throughout the world.
