As we are taken of a tour it becomes apparent that appearances can be deceiving, perhaps this shop is it not so magical after all. Slowly the truth is revealed and we realize that what Mr. Teakin is oblivious to the reality of the situation. Care to try an arsenic flavoured lollypop? We know that sugar is addictive and it doesn't help when your cough drops contains opium. To us today these ingredients are shocking and appalling, yet to Mr. Teakin despite being accused of the deaths of six children he believes they are legal, reasonable and not harmful in the slightest.
