Modern Agricultural Facility and Market Opened - USAID Uganda Success Story

Agoro sub-county in northern Uganda holds monthly market days that attracts traders from both within Uganda and southern Sudan. To accommodate the increasing number of vendors supplying goods, agricultural produce, and livestock, the Agoro market has been transformed into a modern facility with support from USAIDs Office of Transition Initiatives. This has both enhanced peoples economic viability and greatly increased the visibility and confidence in the sub-county leadership to deliver critical economic infrastructure as people return home.
