Monte Vista Farming Company is based in the heart of the Central Valley in Denair, CA. Our team is driven by a steadfast commitment to transparent and traceable processes with growers who are constantly striving to produce the highest quality almonds possible to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers around the world. In 1985, Monte Vista Farming Company entered the almond handling business. At that time Jim Crecelius saw a better, more secure way to handle the almonds that growers were going to deliver to his processing facility. “I adopted a transparent business model that we still use to this day. We never take title to the goods, keep all products separate until its sold and growers participate in the marketing decisions.” -Jim Crecelius We use sustainable farming methoods and are widely recognized for meeting the highest and most stringent customer standards in some of the most discriminating markets. Our team of over 300 members is a dedicated group of problem solvers. We set quality control specifications to meet customer expectations and go above and beyond the USDA grades.
