This Art Dare I think was quite different than some of our other Art Dares, which really emphasized the finishing of a completed artwork. This is quite different because we gave everybody a series of different charts, which had different words that we asked you to interpret visually. And it's such a different mindset when you're doing so many little pieces, because I think what it gets you to do is to think a lot more carefully about the subject matter, and to brainstorm more because really you only have such a small area to make the image. So I think what was really exciting for us is to see people really thinking about how to interpret each individual word. We gave an honorable mention to artists Kate Kristen Wong. One thing that we were so impressed by in her piece was how rich and volumetric a lot of her images were in her chart. For example, if you look in the lower left-hand corner, she has these bottles, which have this incredible sense of mass and almost a sense of Chiaroscuro lighting at the same time so we really enjoyed the depth, and the massiveness that she employed in each of her images.
