"Today I will breathe the air of this place one last time and acknowledge what the speaker called earlier 'the Temple of Democracy that we serve in,'" Representative Cory Mason (D-Racine) told his colleagues during is farewell speech on the Assembly floor. "I'm somebody who really never lost, sort of, that ... the goosebumps you would get when you would drive in on East Washington and see the Capitol and just think how lucky and privileged we are to serve in this body in this amazing space and debate democracy."
