motorola backflip root! prt 1.

first tutorial on how to root the backflip! again sorry for the bad quality vids :( but hey its better than nothing. now this is the link for the moto drivers n sdk files if you dnt already have em. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=6438 link for root files- http://modmymobile.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=28159 now unzip this onto yur desktop. then move the files to a folder on c drive. name it moto_msm_root. (hit enter after each code) now these codes are what yur going to type into the cmd in yur tools folder. adb devices (to verify the connection) adb push c:\Moto_MSM_Root\Superuser.apk /sdcard/Superuser.apk adb push c:\Moto_MSM_Root\su /sdcard/su adb push c:\Moto_MSM_Root\rageagainstthecage-arm5.bin /data/local/tmp/rageagainstthecage-arm5.bin adb push c:\Moto_MSM_Root\install-root.sh /data/local/tmp/install-root.sh adb shell cd /data/local/tmp chmod 0755 rageagainstthecage-arm5.bin chmod 0755 install-root.sh now you download connectbot from market. open that up on yur phone n type the codes: cd /data/local/tmp ./rageagainstthecage-arm5.bin then if you get [+] forked xxxx childs (need to wait a tiny bit) you wanna press enter on yur phone them type exit to exit connectbot. now open the connect bot again it might show up as a black screen...so then press menu button n forseclose. then open up connect bot again n it should work if not then reboot yur phone. now when you get the # sign type this code in: /data/local/tmp/install-root.sh (if the script prints nothing, then it was successful) you have now succesfully rooted yur motorola backflip!!!! :) remember this description is for both part 1 and 2. like i said i suggest only watching 4 mins of the parft 2. comment. rate. subscribe. thnks!
