Mud Men - Waikato Draught Tough Guy / Tough Girl Challenge 2006

One of those crazy sports that we have here in NZ. It's coming to the end of winter, so the ground, mud and water is NOT even a friendly temperature. The husband, a work colleague and wife, and a friend from France all entered this crazy 5km social / 10km competitive race. Up hills, down valleys, through creeks, into marsh, through bush, under nets, into a bog... all to get a free can of beer at the end. Nevertheless a great days entertainment - if you're into that sort of thing. Enjoy.
