The name "Gäste" (Guests) is due to the wide geography of the Duo's performances: Germany, Switzerland, France, Cyprus, Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, etc. Accordingly, the Duo's international repertoire includes their own arrangements of orchestral, piano, and violin music, as well as arrangements and treatments adapted for dulcimer: - classics (I.S.Bach, G.Handel, I.Pachelbel, A.Vivaldi, L.van Beethoven, I.Brahms, R. Strauss, D. Shostakovich, etc.) - folk music (waltzes, tango, tarantella, polka and other dances and songs) - music of various peoples of the world (German, Russian, Belarusian, Italian, Brazilian, Argentine, French, English, Chinese etc.), - covers of "Beatles", "Eagles", "Scorpions» - music from movies ("Doctor Zhivago", "The Smell of a woman", "Amelie») Performances of "Duo Gäste" decorate various events, create a festive mood and a unique flavor of the sound of dulcimer.
