This is my own built laser. The controller I use is an Arduino Due with a RAMPS-FD break-out card. Firmware is Marlin4Due with laser additions from TurnkeyTyranny I have integrated. This is a laser engraving test with the G7 raster format at speed 30000 mm/min (500 mm/sec). The resolution of the engraved picture is 270 dpi, which means a dot size of about 0.09 mm. Motors run at 100 steps/mm. There is no active display, which the "full graphics" display the engraving speed goes down to approximately 20000 mm/min. The oscilloscope shows how the pwm signal to control the laser intensity varies during the engraving.
