My Skin: Elizabeth Swann.

TaL: Alright, I've had this saved for some time now, and I just completed it this morning. It's a video tribute to my really good friend Rori-cakez. She mentioned to me that this was one of her favourite songs and that it meant something beautiful to her so I decided to do this for her. Girl, I hope you enjoy. XD I first got the inspiration when I watched wtagirl's video for Benjamin/Lucy. I believe I heard the song before but her video really sparked something inside me. The tragedy, lonliness and heartache in the song, lyrics and voice was too much to ignore and I can personally relate. So then I knew I had to make my own video but, who to use? Nothing Sweeney related and Harry Potter didn't seem to fit. Then it hit me: Pirates. But not just any pirate, Elizabeth. Everything fell into place. The tragedy of losing her father, James and Will changed her. So in my video, I magnified the pain. Will leaves her on the beach alone for 10 years and Lizzie is swallowed in the memories of losing everything and everyone she loved. Her world is black/white. That's when Jack saves her; not physically, but mentally. He is there for her through her thoughts and the memories about him cure the pain and fill the hole in her heart. He paints her world in colour again (that's why every scene where Lizzie is with Jack, the colour comes in.) He is her rock, her friend. She needs him to stay alive, she needs him. And when he leaves her, she is once again, plunged into the darkness. "Love of my life - oh, I need this..."
