On arrival a working fire was declared and a 1st alarm was struck. Soon after a 2nd and 3rd alarm were called bringing in departments from all over Porter County. The owner reported a pop in the rear of the building, when him and another worker investigated they found fire. Both men grabbed extinguishers, but were unsuccessful at stopping the fire. Two workers and a firefighter were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Three ladders and two monitors were used to contain the fire. Minimal damage to surrounding buildings occurred. Awesome job by all departments.
