NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division organized a NATO Experts Forum: Social Media for International Organizations on Friday, September 18, 2015 at NATO HQ . This full-day event brought together high-level leaders, experts at the operator level, and industry representatives from well-known social media platforms. The myriad of ways in which social media affects international organizations – from stakeholder communication to the dissemination of disinformation by state and non-state actors – were addressed.
