New Anti-Toxicity Roadmap - Rainbow Six Siege

Ubisoft have announced fresh measures to tackle toxic behaviour in Rainbow Six Siege. Over the course of the next few seasons, we will see a chat mute function, automatic text chat filtering and team kill tracking introduced into the game. I personally like these measures, since they allow players to tune out aggravating team mates or opponents but will not necessarily include immediate punishment. It provides a softer touch compared to immediate bans but still gives each individual player the ability to choose whether or not they want to engage with an annoying player. TKs happen now and then but if someone is purposefully circumventing the current measures by only committing one TK per round, then the new measures will allow that person to be discovered eventually and again, I think this is a good thing.
