Taxable income Tax Rate Up to Rs. 2,50,000 Nil Rs. 2,50,000 to Rs. 5,00,000 5% Rs. 5,00,000 to Rs. 10,00,000 20% Above Rs. 10,00,000 30% To umeed hai dosto aapko video pasand ayega Budget has been announced by Mr. Arun Jaitely on 1st Feb’s017 in which INCOME TAX SLAB RATE 2017-18 INCOME TAX RATES (INDIVIDUALS & HUF) (Tax rate for FY 2076-18 and AY 2017-18) has been announced which is as follows: Income Tax Slab Rate 2017-18 1) Income Tax Slab Rate For FY 2017-18 for Individuals and HUF :- Net Taxable Income upto Rs.250000 Tax Rate NIL Net Taxable From Rs.250000 to Rs. 500000 Tax Rate 5% Net Taxable From Rs.500000 to Rs. 1000000 Tax Rate 20% Net Taxable Income Above Rs.100000 Tax Rate 30% Surcharge extra in case income is above Rs.50 Lakhs (From 50 Lakhs to 1 Crores 10% Surcharge and Above 1 Crores 15% surcharge) 2) Income Tax Slab Rate For FY 2017-18 for Senior Citizens Net Taxable Income upto Rs.300000 Tax Rate NIL Net Taxable From Rs.300000 to Rs. 500000 Tax Rate 5% Net Taxable From Rs.500000 to Rs. 1000000 Tax Rate 20% Net Taxable Income Above Rs.100000 Tax Rate 30% Surcharge extra in case income is above Rs.50 Lakhs (From 50 Lakhs to 1 Crores 10% Surcharge and Above 1 Crores 15% surcharge) 3) Income Tax Slab Rate For FY 2017-18 for Super Senior Citizens Net Taxable Income upto Rs.500000 Tax Rate NIL Net Taxable From Rs.500000 to Rs. 1000000 Tax Rate 20% Net Taxable Income Above Rs.100000 Tax Rate 30% Surcharge extra in case income is above Rs.50 Lakhs (From 50 Lakhs to 1 Crores 10% Surcharge and Above 1 Crores 15% surcharge) B) Rebate under Section 27A is now Rs.2500 on Income upto Rs.350000/- C) Penalty on Filing of Return after Due Date (Due Date for Individual and HUF who not have to audit books of accounts is 31st July) Penalty is as follows: 1) Individuals having Income upto Rs.500000/- After 31st July Penalty Rs.1000/- 2) Individuals having Income above Rs.500000/- From 1 August to 31 December Penalty Rs.5000/- After 31 December Penalty Rs.10000/- With proper planning and after getting some basic information about tax you can save your tax easily.
