Hey Everyone. I decided to purchase a new piece to do a new review on and test out before the firework shows around the local neighborhoods kick off. This was a beauty when I seen it. Pulse Glass did a great job in creating a a great piece with intricate slit work that really holds a ton of smoke thanks to the 24mm joint. This piece hits great and the 2nd showehead adds great pull at the end. The piece has platinum labeling on it and offers functionality with awesome craftsmanship. Specs: Thickness: 5mm Height: 19.5 in. Base Diameter: 5.5 in. Joint: 24mm Diffusers/Perculators: Double Showerhead Downstem: Pulse Glass Gridded Downsteam Bowl: Pulse Glass 18mm Ice Pinch Pulse Drag/Flow: This was quite the beaker to test out, and it did not disappoint. There was very little drag in this piece and it does hold and contain a lot of smoke. It takes a while for the smoke to travel to the top thanks to the beaker bottom and different sized tubes, but the extra showerhead adds for a great pull and smooth flow. The doubleshowerhead's main functionality would serve best for a sweet nice pull at the end that fires after pulling the bowl. Diffusion/Filtration: The Double Showerhead, like I said earlier, is great for the piece's pull. Both showerhead's have a ton of slits that are millimeters apart that diffuses the smoke and leaves the user with a clean, smooth, and tasty rip. The bubbles do stack quite high, and one can take massive hits thanks to the 24mm joint it consists of, and the beaker bottom. The 2nd doubleshowerhead doesn't fire when first hitting, but as stated, it does help and is extremely effect when pulling and adds for not only a quick pull, but even cleaner and smoother hit in the end with its final filtration stage that does fire after one pulls the bowl from the piece. The gridded downstem adds for even more filtration and creates such a great hit. I fell in love with the bong after taking massive hit after hit. It definitely is quite the piece to percolate the smoke and diffuse it to the point where one is inhaling air, yet, tasting the flowers. Craftsmanship: This piece is quite jaw dropping when first glancing at it. It is a beautiful piece and intricate work in the percolator. The double showerhead percolator consists of roughly 80 slits and is nicely and cleanly cut with a flame polished finish that leaves a great sparkle in the light. I must say, this piece is nicely fused and the percolator craftsmanship is quite nice. I haven't seen a doubleshowerhead with this many slits. Many companies use single showerheads since the 2nd row doesnt fire, but the 2nd row adds a great use for functionality and definitely leaves a better look to the eye. The gridded downstem is quite nice itself, and has a ton of holes in it. The gridded work is very nice and each of the pieces, the bowl, the beaker, and the downstem, are all labeled with Platinum. Cost: The piece was price at $390 but I walked away with it at $360. I was quite happy with the price after hitting it. The piece looked beautiful at the shop but now looks even better on my shelf with my other beauties. This piece is definitely worth the money and I was not disappointed especially with the fact that the piece came with a 24mm gridded downstem and 18mm ice pinch bowl. The downstem diffuses nicely and is worth every penny because they sell them at the shop for $60 standalone price. The Company: Pulse Glass is a fairly new company based out of Los Angeles California. After doing a little research, I've found to see that they handblow all of their pieces in Los Angeles with 5mm German Shot Glass, and label all of their work with Platinum. They haven't been around much and this is the first time I've heard of them, so I am definitely excited to see what they are going to do in the future. Overall: The piece is beautiful and hits like a champ. Its definitely better than most beakers on the market, and the doubleshowerhead definitely adds for a great pull. The gridded downstem is icing on the cake and leaves for great filtration. If you like a ton of smoke, no pull, great filtration, and a smooth hit, then this should be an option. I'm excited to see what this new company will do, but as for my next review, i'm going to have to go with something a little more popular. I'm always open for suggestions. **If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and leave your thoughts and comments in the thread.
