New Yorkers come out in big numbers in support of the CAA

A large number of Indian-Americans have come out in support of the amended citizenship law and the proposed National Register of Citizens, holding rallies in several US cities to "dispel misinformation and myths" surrounding it. They held a rally in NEw York to show support for the legislation. These rallies are aimed at "dispelling the misinformation and myths" surrounding the law as well as to counter the propaganda of hate, lies and downright absurdities, the organisers said. Indian-Americans have held pro-CAA rallies in Seattle , Austin, and Houston. The rallies were also held in Dublin, Ohio and in Raleigh North Carolina. Several other demonstrations are being planned in the coming weeks in Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington DC, Atlanta, San Jose and other locations.
