THE PROJECT RAW IDEA (WITHIN THE INTENSIVE ART RESIDENCY PROJECT) [please scroll down for Vietnamese] Within the project: "Intensive Art Residency" (see more here http://www.zerostationvn.org/home.php?id=108) ZeroStation would like to announce that Nguyen Tran Uu Dam, a Vietnamese artist who is living and working in USA will be the invited artist since 5th march to 31th March, 2012 Uu Dam will be working with two local partners, Nguyen Duc Tu, a video and photography artist, and Pham Tran Viet Nam, painter, sculptor and rock singer The name for the project of three artist is : Raw Idea The special point of the Raw Idea project is that it could be considered a Non-project Each week in one month, three artists will have 5 five meetings (total 20 meetings). Each meeting will be in 3 hours (from 2pm-5pm). In these meetings, they will discuss on the methodology of working together, and the ways to deal with sudden facts which are supposed to emerge in the process of collaboration. This project does not aim to make an exhibition, but something is beyond it. It stresses on the experiment. The experiments could be failed, successful or amazing, but by having not any imposing preconception, they target to the highest goal in creative work. This is very laboratory for collaboration, What ever could happen, whatever could be welcome. This is also a process of experiencing for artists For each meeting in the entire of project, artist Nguyen Duc Tu will make a video clip (around 5 minutes). These video clips then will be posted in the project's channel. For Nguyen Duc Tu, this is also the opportunity to think about the idea of the originality of the artwork, which he has faced when conducting his own project " Panorama" in a couple years ago. These discussions will be also about some other topics such as why we do what we are doing?. Pham Tran Viet Nam, in beginning of the project, will be an observer, but he will engage more in the discussion when his time comes.
