With Prince Ali now freed we work on removing his curse, however the same solution that worked for us will not work for him due to the method of transformation and Aapep's magic strengthening it, the only solution is to defeat Aapep, bringing about a fairytale reunion and our last gem to set inside Mornstar. Meanwhile the Councillor that enabled us to grab Mornstar from the past pays Shadar a visit, asking him his intentions towards the world while also possibly revealing his "traitorous" agenda, however the obvious set back occurs as visiting Kublai the gems are obviously too big to set in the wand, leading us to one last quest to combine them all.
