A2ndvoice in partnership with NABSS held 2 seminars at Birkbeck, London and University Square, Stratford to raise awareness amongst the BME Communities in August 2013. On Saturday 29th March the seminar was from a personal perspective that had various speakers speaking about the challenges and accomplishments from parents, carers, autistic child and his father, aspergers adult, Mother speak about the lack of understanding with the criminal justice system (Stop and Search), Sibling of an autistic brother, specialists consultants and a short film about a faith healing that went wrong. http://www.nabss.org.uk/ A2ndvoice will continue running support groups and workshops with specialists and autistic adults throughout the year. http://a2ndvoice.com
