Nick Notestine| Wrestling Highlights

My name is Nick Notestine from Pickerington, Ohio and wrestle for Pickerington North High School. As a student I have a cumulative GPA of 3.6 and scored a 24 on my ACT. I plan on retaking it in December to achieve a score of 27 or better. I have a strong interest in Calculus and Physics and would like to major in Engineering. Also I am interested in physical therapy or Athletic Training Just to tell you about myself, I am 3x Sectional Finalist, and a 3x District Qualifier. Last year I went 34-12 as a Junior in the 152lbs. weight class and took 8th at Medina and took 5th at Districts making me a state alternate. I have wrestled and beaten top ranked wrestlers like Jimmy Thomas (ranked 6th at 160lbs) and Nick Hammond (ranked 4th at 160lbs). As you can see I can hang with the top caliber wrestlers in the state. Unfortunately an unfinished shot and a stupid mistake of me fleeing the mat cost me to going to states. This just gives me even more motivation to do better this year and aim towards my goal of placing at states this year.
