In other words, the first screening permit I got in Greece was the result of nepotism. The same sort of thing would happen two years later with "ARPA COLLA" ("Quick & Dirty") * A question usually addressed to kids. I was 35. Την επιτροπή είχε ενοχλήσει η κομουνιστική «Διεθνής» που τραγουδούσαν οι μαθητές του δημοτικού. Φυσικά δεν δέχτηκα να κόψω «ούτε ένα καρέ», αλλά η ταινία άνοιγε την επομένη και δεν υπήρχε και χρόνος να ζητήσουμε επανεξέταση, οπότε ζήτησα την γραπτή απόφαση για να στείλω ένα δελτίο τύπου. Aντ' αυτού ο πρόεδρος της επιτροπής μου ζήτησε να τον ακολουθήσω στο γραφείο του διευθυντή. Αυτός --γύρω στα 60- με ρώτησε με πολύ cool ύφος πως με λένε και ποιανού είμαι κι όταν του είπα το όνομα του πατέρα μου, ισχυρίστηκε ότι είναι ο θείος μου αφού είχε πάρει μια δεύτερη ξαδέλφη της μάνας μου. Mε άλλα λόγια, την πρώτη άδεια προβολής μου στην Ελλάδα την πήρα με ρουσφέτι. Περίπου το ίδιο θα μου συνέβαινε 2 χρόνια μετά με το ΑΡΠΑ COLLA.
