No Ganeshotsav in Maharashtra Sadan?

Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi is unlikely to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi this year. Every year Ganesh Chaturthi celebration is a private affair of some staff. The Maharashtra Sadan never in the past celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi. However, officer used to get together, contribute money and organise a function. Though this year, none of the officers have taken initiative. Assistant Residents Commissioner Nadini Awhade used to take initiative to celebrate the festival. But celebration this year is unlikely as she has been transferred to other department.
