Nonito Donaire World Flyweight Champion

Nonito Donaire Jr. is the Flyweight Champion of the World. He's also a humble gentleman who lives in the Bay area with a proud Filipino heritage. Donaire and his brother Glenn fought for me early their careers at the RIOT AT THE HYATT in Monterey. While Glenn is pretty much wrapping up his pro boxing career with two kids at home, Nonito is just heating up. Now married and nursing an injured hand, he'll be defending his World Title in the spring and then collide with Vic Darchinian who he knocked out to win the World Championship. Vic says it was a lucky punch, and has been on a winning streak at Superfly since the upset KO loss. When the pair meet again, in 2009, Nonito plans for a similar result at 115 pounds.
