Norman Salant & Benjamin Bossi: Saxophone Duo - "Country"

"Country" from the Archive CD: Saxophone Duo featuring Norman Salant & Benjamin Bossi. In 1986, after an exploratory summer in NYC, the duo returned to San Francisco to prepare for a permanent move to the East Coast. In September they did a series of farewell performances around town at clubs, private parties, and one formal concert at the Noe Valley Ministry. Four of the recordings on this disc, all of Side Two, come from that show. Country was developed from a Benjamin Bossi riff and was often used to close shows. Released December 2011.
