I had to run over to Utica to pick up a case of wax. I make this trip every year to resupply. I know, I know, everybody has their favorite and many of them are really good but none are this good. I have used about every wax made over the years but now I only use one, Collinite #845 Insulator Wax. Of course 99.5% of you have never heard of it and that is because it is primarily used for high voltage power lines and insulators to prevent flashover. I stopped in and talked to the President of Collinite, Mike Taylor and he hooked me up with a bunch of samples which I will give out to car detail looking people at the Syracuse Nationals Car Show. Once you use this stuff, everything else becomes a shelf queen. By the way, I do not work for Collinite in any capacity other than as a dedicated #845 user. A special thanks to Mike.
