D' BODIES CAUSE TRAFFIC JAM
Police in the Philippines capital Manila rounded up nine scantily-clad members of a new pop group known as the D'Bodies after Thursday raunchy photo shoot near a Manila church caused a traffic jam.
As scores of onlookers jostled for viewing spots, the women - most of them topless underneath see-through raincoats - posed for cameramen on the ledge of a fountain in front of the centuries-old Malate Church.
Trailed by a large crowd, they then crossed Roxas Boulevard for more photos on the seawall of Manila Bay, halting traffic on one of Manila's busiest streets.
Following in the footsteps of performers like the 'Viva Hot Babes' and 'Sex Bomb Girls', the group were promoting their first album, a collection of songs with such titles as "Kiliti" (Tickle) and "Giling, Kendeng Kembot" (Grind, Gyrate and Sway).
Police ordered the women off the street and led them to a bus that took them to the traffic bureau.
The women were later transferred to police headquarters.
A police source said the group could be found to have violated the permit allowing the photo shoot, which prohibits the taking of "immoral and indecent" pictures.
He said police were also considering charging the group with indecent exposure and alarm and scandal.
