OG Shyne - Hulu (Don't work with this artist/ NEVER PAID FOR VIDEO)

She's dishonest, untrustworthy, and has terrible work ethic! Production commenced December 2018 - April 2019. I made two music videos (2 for 1) for her and she never paid! I was desperate of a talented hip-hop artist to showcase my editing abilities in Hip-Hop (my first Hip-Hop video) as well to showcase my abilities in motion graphics to artists in South Florida. My time was limited and I didn't receive a down payment due to her lack of money at the moment. I bit the bullet and proceeded the project. I did all the location scouting, scheduling, shooting, editing, all motion graphics, rotoscoping, special effects, the whole production was all ME. For ONE second of special effects and squiggle art was an average of 45 minutes. The video is 3:09 minutes LONG! Its been a year, no pay, and she ignores my text and calls. I wont say how much because ill embarrass myself. It's hurtful, upsetting, and irritating. Im passionate with my craft. I pour my heart out for these gigs. I make many sacrifices for artists just for them to walk all over my art. For all aspiring filmmakers/artists, have a F*%$#@^ contract to save your ass!! Know what you bring to the table and always stay true to you art!
