Oh How Good It Is: by Keith & Kristyn Getty, Ross Holmes, Stuart Townend

Our family harmony on a beautiful song we love by the Gettys, Ross Holmes( a great fiddle player!), Stuart Townend(one of our favorite song writers for hymns and songs of our Christian faith). We've attended 2 SING conferences with the Gettys in Nashville(the only 2 held so far). Ross Holmes played fiddle the night we all took the Grand Ol Opry Stage, in the choir, directed by Jonathon Rea of New Irish Arts in Ireland. Ricky Skaggs took the stage that night with us too, as did Buddy Greene? on harmonica and vocals for one he had written(I'll edit this once I have correct info)...the rehearsal before on stage with so many amazing musicians for Samantha and me(Grace, on piano here, was in the audience with her dad) was a phenomenal experience! Of course the actual performance was wonderful too, but I especially remember how much the fun, casual, walk through with conversation and laughs during the rehearsal were. So this is just a raw cut of the girls and I just trying really a new way for us to 'do' music together. We are each on our 'true' primary instruments but rarely do we do this...perhaps we should try this instrumentation more often! Enjoy and God bless!
