Oil and Gas Sites Need Security and Warning Signs

In this new safety message, Chairman Bresland calls for oil and gas production sites to have security measures and warning signs, following a tragic explosion that took the lives of two Mississippi teenagers in October 2009. The CSB determined that a number of similar explosions have occurred across the country when young people were gathering or socializing near oil and gas storage tanks. The chairman's safety message is being released in conjunction with the new CSB safety video, "No Place to Hang Out: The Danger of Oil Sites."
