Oman Caving

The weekend of September 28th 2012 the caving team MECET (Middle Each Caving Expeditionary Team) set off to the Selmah Plateau near Fins, Oman with the mission to once again explore these wonderful and beautiful caves. The team split into 3 groups to make our way though the caving system. Toufic, Pike, Thoby and I made our way together through 'Arch" and this is the video Toufic and I got from that day. This was the first time either of us had used our GoPros in a cave in such low lighting. Over 3 hours of video was shot and edited down to just under 14 min. While the video might be long I wanted to capture the best parts to give everyone the best glimpse into this amazing cave. The video does not do the cave justice as the low lighting does not capture its full essence; it is far more beautiful and challenging in person.
