One Day VFR In Grenchen - SAT PK4/13

Becoming a pilot, flying an airplane - a dream is coming true! Nine motivated students spent six weeks in Grenchen, Switzerland, to make their first "steps" in the air as part of the flight school with Swiss Aviation Training. It began with basic exercises like straight flight, turns, stalling an airplane. Followed by landing training and emergency drill. And finally we were released for our first solo - a once in a lifetime experience which we will never forget! The last week of our training was then reserved for navigation flights to other Swiss airports: Altenrhein, Bern, Buochs, Ecuvillens, Lausanne, Neuchâtel, Sion. But the best one was definitely the flight over the alps to Locarno and back - head on with the magnificent Matterhorn - no words can describe this.
