One Direction's Louis Tomlinson plays football with Doncaster Rovers FC

The over 5000 fans that turned up for the game are believed to have travelled from as far afield as Denmark, France, Italy and the US to see his first match. But the eager crowds had to wait for the 65th minute of the game, which was a 0-0 draw, to catch the pop star in action but did not seem too upset, cheering on his every move. Speaking after the game Tomlinson said he felt proud to be playing: "It's such an honour to be involved in a club that I spent most of my childhood going to the games." Report by Jennifer Cordingley.
