Since then, very few details have leaked out. But today one newly-leaked image showcases what is allegedly the front of a OnePlus 7 prototype placed alongside the OnePlus 6T. Commencing with the upper bezel, which is perhaps the most eye-catching design feature, there’s no denying that it’s incredibly thin. Rather importantly, though, this look is technically achievable with current technology. In fact, OnePlus parent company Oppo previously pulled off the design with the Oppo Find X and, considering the too brands often share their technology, a OnePlus smartphone with this design isn’t impossible. There are a few particulars in the photo that lend confidence to the leak. The earpiece and its grille look entirely new, but the size and shape of its holes look nearly identical to the 6T, a logical evolution of the configuration which could have been designed by the same OEM. The biggest piece of info to come from the leak is manifests via the case surrounding the phone. We've got a pair of cutouts which appear to be for a camera and a sensor assembly, but nothing on the other side but a void. Now, we can't guarantee this is the OnePlus 7 we're looking at, but details present in the photo lead us to be confident it's plausible. Most of our readers know we tend to avoid leaks that aren't hit-you-in-the-head obvious, but this is so close to what we'd logically expect that we're reasonably confident in it. But, it's still possible this is a device from another OEM. OnePlus' phones are historically very similar to OPPO devices, so that's another potential explanation — if a less likely one. ====================DISCLAIMER====================== "Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for -fair use- for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
