WILD WEST ONLINE is a emergent systems-driven, open world, Wild West-themed action MMO built from the ground up for PC and featuring world exploration, resource gathering, PvP combat, PvE missions and much, much more. We at 612 Games are huge fans of the Western genre. We love the real life history and legends, the documentaries, novels and memorabilia, and of course the shows and movies. The John Ford classics, Sergio Leone’s spaghetti westerns, modern deconstructions like Unforgiven and Django Unchained, series like Deadwood or Westworld, to name but a few. We also love the games: Outlaws, Gun, Call of Juarez and of course, Red Dead Redemption 2. In fact we’ve been waiting for that franchise to be confirmed for PC since the original. Slightly over a year ago we decided to stop waiting and start doing. We had access to technology that would allow us to create vast, intricate open-worlds populated with live players and NPCs. We have great relationships with a pool of top-tier local development talent happy to offer their services. Why not start building the game that we wanted to play. Happy Camper With the right resources players can deploy a camp. Recuperate, start a fire and receive basic protection in proximity. Any players who are part of your group (posse) or clan (gang) can utilize these facilities. You can harm or kill anyone within the borders of your camp without repercussions. A man’s got a right to defend his property, even in the great outdoors! PvE Adventures Not all players want to engage in PvP activities, or even interact with other players much at all. While playing alone or with your friends, you can engage in various PvE activities. These are Missions received from NPCs that send you on a quest to hunt for treasure or explore an area and report your findings. With community based servers focused on role-playing instead of PVP - the possibilities are limited only by your imagination. Free Expansions These are features we predict are going to take a little time to add, test and balance. They will be released during Season One via incremental updates. All addition content added via updates will be FREE to all players. Home On The Range Nothing says home, like your own customizable abode. Buy a deed to one of the finite land-lots around the world, and build/customize your perfect house with upgrades, furniture pieces, security features, etc. Night Manager A set of nighttime missions, where you are “hired” by an NPC to protect certain structure (a bank, sheriff station, mayor house, etc. ) Once you (or your posse) have accepted the mission, other players on the servers are notified that they can attack this place to obtain loot. You will need to barricade, booby-trap and prepare to fend off attacks for a specific amount of time, directly related to the reward you will receive. The Great Train Robbery Robbing a bank is fun. Robbing a train is awesome! It works like this. A train goes from point X to Point Y across the map – stopping at stations along the way to pick up passengers (unless it’s transporting something really valuable). Players can either board a train at a station or plan to intercept it in motion. If you board at a station you have the option of “protecting” the train from robbers. The train follows set times. It’s a scheduled RAID that happens several times a day, it’s not instanced. So literally the whole server population could get involved if they wanted too. Mountain Man Welcome to the great American outdoors. Or rather altitude. The world map is expanded with a new biome focusing on pine trees and colder, higher climates. Mountain forests, snowy peaks and all the activities associated with it. This additional terrain will approximately double the overall map size. Viva Mexico! Another whole new biome: A new desert / range environment modeled after Old Mexico!
