Today we take a look at the Oukitel Mix 2 which is identical to the Vernee mix 2 but for $40 more you get some slight improvements which I think are worth it. The Oukitel Mix 2 has a Helio P25 processor and 6GB of Ram that has given me some exceptional performance. I do a in-depth review after owning it for over a week. I talk about the features in the oukitel mix 2, performance, camera and the issues I ran into.

The 2160x1080p 18:9 display with a 403dpi is bright and pleasing to look at. You can calibrate the display in the settings. The nearly edge to edge display is great to look at except for the thick chin. This is an identical clone of the Xiaomi mix 2 but with an 18:9 display instead of the 16:9. This is a budget alternative if you like the xiaomi mix 2 design. one of the issues I have encountered that I forgot to mention in the video is that the notification light doesn't work on the phone nor does it appear in the settings to toggle on or off.
The fingerprint reader is faster than both the Vernee mix 2 and the elephone s8.
The battery is smaller than the vernee mix 2, but gets me 1 hour more of onscreen time. This is with Wi-Fi turned on all the time, but with no cellular connectivity. I am able to get 2G on T-mobiles network, but it only works for sending and receiving texts and not for calling. The signal remains strong for a few minutes depending where I am at.
The oukitel mix 2 camera is better than the vernee mix 2 camera. In the video I show a quick comparison between the oukitel mix 2 and the vernee mix 2 pictures. The oukitel mix 2 produces some better looking pictures with its 21mp sensor and handles lighting a bit better too as can be seen in the comparison.
