So you think Pakistan is a dangerous country? It's not worth your life to go there and explore yourself? Well, it's time to change your opinion. It's amazing and safe. Tourism is gradually growing. So go there to see their real culture, before it gets too touristy.
After having finished the escorted crossing of Balochistan (check out https://youtu.be/2SiKVxHMy8s), reached Islamabad and stayed there for a few days, it's time to start our real visit of Pakistan. We're heading to the north, specifically Gilgit-Baltistan. It's november and we heard that it's super cold up there, so we try to prepare a bit by buying warmer jackets from a second hand market in Islamabad (and warm socks in Abbottabad; not visible in video). We're doing couchsurfing in Islamabad, Abbottabad and Gilgit, are invited by a family near Mansehra and stay in a cheap hotel room near Dasu.
The Karakoram Highway is offering us magnificent views, partly out of cars during hitchhike, partly out of police pickup trucks.
Any questions? Put them in the comments.
