Farmers in Ouyen in North West Victoria have been protecting hundreds of nude women this weekend. In the midst of a huge "Big Dry" There was a carnival atmosphere at the Ouyen Trotting track prior to the more than 500 women being bussed to a secret location outside the Mallee town for their much anticipated "rain dance".
Local police said farmers have been only too happy to help because many of their wives are also taking part.
The Ouyen Rain Dance was for women only and organised by the locals after they found out a similar attempt brought rain in Nepal.
But on this occasion it didn't rain for quiet some time ? but spirits were lifted.
This clip was cut from the O-Line Video/Media file tape, of that event.
