I'm no stranger to censorship or sexualization. 3 months ago YouTube took my promo video down over a flash of a nipple #unwarrantedcensorship ??. I can't help but feel as though it's partially racially charged considering I see uncensored white women all over YouTube, but I diguress. As far back as I can remember I've also been sexualized for various reasons. Because I was a woman, for being a gymnast, for having curves, for preferring less clothes over more clothes, for being friendly, for being beautiful, for being confident, for being black... the list goes on. I've been censored by society, significant others, family members... told to calm down, put on more, do less, etc. My fullest self was always chipped away at by people around me and myself. It's been years in the making, but here it is: me not giving a fuck about any of the above.
This is a story about the ins & outs of dealing with censorship, being a nudist (like the 3 hours I just spent on censoring nipples!), sexualization, not giving a fuck in a society that wants you to, and making your own world within it. I include some tips on how I’ve dealt with both censorship (3:15) and sexualization (5:25), but please keep in mind this still a very tiny snippet of everything that goes into this! I’ve done my best to be all inclusive. I’ve also included a surprise for you guys: The Goddess Raw + Uncut (uncensored!) is coming soon (9:05); so make sure you watch through to the end to find out more.
