His other favorite artists include Umphrey's McGee who he has seen 2x & who he covers frequently. Joel Cummins & Ryan Stasik of Umphrey's McGee were kind enough to spend time talking with Owen for a half hour before their 2015 Albany show. Owen hopes to meet Donald Fagen of Steely Dan but perhaps his biggest influence is Chick Corea whose music he plays often. Owen saw Chick Corea play live & met Chick Corea after his show.
