Part 1 U13B Gottschee (now #1 USA) vs. Matchfit NE Academy League 4/13/13 Part 1

Two of the best U13 academy teams in the USA pair off in this full game video. Match Fit Academy '99s are #4 Top Drawer in the nation, #2 in NE Pre-Academy League. Gottschee Academy '99s are #6 Top Drawer, #3 NE Pre-Academy League. Combined record 23-1-1 with the only loss coming to the #1 team in the nation NYRB Academy. Gottschee features two players appearing on the U-14 USMNT including #10 striker Timothy Weah (FIFA player of the year George Weah's son). This is Part 1 of 2 (1st half). Gottschee is in blue and Match Fit in black. Highlights: 1-0 Gottschee '99 at halftime. Goal at 16:36 on the video Gottschee appeared the better team on the day, but you be the judge and compare the level of play to other international academies like the Barcelona U-10s also on my video list. Match Fit seemed reliant on getting a ball forward to #24, Miles, their own big, strong forward. Part 2 (2nd half) to follow.
