To play it, you need to get a Japanese ROM and manually translate it (or simply play it in Japanese if you don’t mind missing out on the story). Maniac mode features more enemies with higher stats and more advanced equipment, and also changes the game in other ways, such as granting the player less bonus experience, or even changing the positioning of enemy units. In this Let’s Play, me and Mekkah will focus on the differences between Maniac and Difficult mode, and on the gameplay itself, rather than the story.
