Patapon 3 - PPSSPP Multiplayer Fix (v1.6)

This code allows multiplayer in Patapon 3 to work correctly, avoiding player slot sync issues. The main issue with PPSSPP multi is that the second player is detected by the game as the first player. That overwrites player data and controls, making the game completely unplayable in multi (both players control the same hero and other annoying glitches). That's what this code fixes. Notes: • IMPORTANT NOTE: Seems like version 1.2 of the code is not working for most of the people. This is caused because I modified some of the code offsets while creating it, so I recommend using the original version of the code. KEEP IN MIND that the original version of the code ONLY works in the European version of the game, using the English language. • NOTE 2: If the game crashes at the start, disable Fast Memory on the settings. If this keeps happening then you can try disabling the code before opening the game and enabling it after. • NOTE 3: I recommend using a low refresh rate for the code to not glitch, anything below 50 should work well (for 1.2 and lower). • NOTE 4: The host doesn't need to have the code activated. The desync does only affect the second player so as long as he has the code activated, everything should work fine. So host players can be using any language and version of the game. Extra notes for v1.2: • NOTE 1: The cheat needs to be loaded since the language selection screen to detect language and take effect. • NOTE 2: A low refresh rate isn't needed but it's recommended because with high values sometimes language isn't detected (older versions don't use this method but it's recommended to lower refresh rate when using them too). • NOTE 3: Once you exit language screen the code works with any refresh rate. • NOTE 4: The code causes some texture glitches, but it doesn't affect or break the game. • NOTE 5: I recommend hovering over the selected language for a few seconds so the code has time to detect it. Usage: • Enable cheat codes in your PPSSPP settings (or CTRL+T). • Enter the cheat menu (on the ESC menu) and click on "Edit cheat file". • Paste the newest code inside the cheat file and save it. • Make sure the code is checked (enabled).
