I'm hooked. Moth Vellum released only one (but perfect) record. It is one of my all time favourites! In 2013 Johannes Luley released a very good soloalbum. And now we have Perfect Beings! I am so excited. Three records so different and yet you can hear the connection. This one is a combination of pop versus progressive rock. The more I listen to it the more I like it. This record starts with two ear pleasing songs, almost Beach Boys, Beatles like. But from there the adventure begins... The songs get more daring, free. For example listen to the drums in this song. You feel this band has no constraints and they help each other to shine. Songs with tons of atmosphere. The Removal of the Indentity chip has great guitar, bass, synths and nice drums. It reminds me a lot of Moth Vellum. Remnants of Shields could easily be overlooked but is very strong. I could go on but I won't. This record deserves to be heard as a whole.
