Hello everyone, in this video I just took some cuttings off a larger Peruvian Torch cactus, to make new plants. They are native to the Western Slope of the Andes Mountains in Peru, 5,000 to 9,000 feet in elevation. This plant is from Rio Lurin, Peru. KK2147 variety/designation. I used a hacksaw, and it worked quite well, the core is woody, and is sometimes difficult to cut with a knife. I will be taking these cuttings inside my house to heal for about a month. Then they will planted outside on my desert 2 acres in partial shade. 4-5 hours of full sun is plenty here. Thanks for watching. Keith in Arizona
