PMD: Explorers of Time/Darkness: Starter Evolution

When you beat the final story boss and the credits roll and when you continue your adventure, you graduate, and then have the chance to evolve.... your recruits. You and your partner Pokemon still can't evolve due to "distortion of Space". That's because although the story chapters are over.... the story itself isn't. You must still go through several story-like aftermissions to find the real culprit behind the story, along with recruiting a few Pokemon, THEN you can evolve. This video describes what it's like to evolve. I (GK, GekkouKitsune) turned into a Pikachu. I thought I'd be Charmander, but instead I got Pikachu. I chose my partner to be Charmander, because that's what my friend Nick became. And in turn he picked Pikachu to be his partner, so it's like we played through the game together. =D I'm keeping Nick as a Charmander though. It just suits him more. The image has been burned into my head that it's him, so I don't want to see him as anything else. He's strong enough as is. So, how exactly was I able to evolve myself/starter? You must do these things: ==========BEWARE: SPOILER ALERT========== ========================================= There's obviously going to be spoilers. I suggest that if you haven't actually beat the story yet (there's 20 chapters), to not read the following. Takes the fun out of it. ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= ========================================= How to evolve your starter & partner: - Beat the final story boss, Primal Dialga. (obviously) - Beat the Graduation Exam. - Obtain Manaphy's egg by completing SURROUNDED SEA dungeon. Do the mission to give it 2 Blue Gummis, then go to Miracle Sea to obtain medicine, then Manaphy will leave. - Do optional missions. People are impatient and forget about the Job Postings. Do them. They advance the plot just like in the story, so if something hasn't happened, go to the bullitens, complete missions. - Encounter ''Cresselia'' in your dreams. - Meet up with Marrill and help Azurill's Nightmare by going to Mt. Travail and getting Drowzee. - Complete "The Nightmare". - Complete Spacial Rift and defeat Palkia. - Complete Dark Crater and defeat Darkrai. You still have to do a few other things. - Recruit Palkia by clearing Spacial Rift a second time - Recruit Manaphy (complete some optional missions and s/he'll return) - Unlock Marine Resort dungeon (some time after Manaphy joins you, or when he joins you. I forgot.) Contrary to popular opinion, you do not have to recruit Dialga nor Darkrai in order to evolve. Also, notice at my Continue screen, the icons at the bottom. You need all those too, but you should have them if you've beaten Darkrai. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU CANT SEEM TO GET PALKIA TO APPEAR, I DON'T KNOW WHY IT'S LIKE THAT, I THINK MANY WOULD AGREE THAT THIS GAME IS VERY WEIRD, BUT TRY GETTING THIS AND SEEING IF HE'LL APPEAR.
