I woke up and recorded this (before the Shaper video, neglected to upload it). Sorry for all of my deaths and grumbly voice, but that's basically why.
I forgot to mention some things, such as how unimportant Wise Oak balancing is starting out. I also switched to Maim, since it's now a damage increase over GMP for me. (Recoloring isn't so bad.)
Mandatory items: Doomfletch's Prism, Wise Oak
Yeah. That's pretty much it. There's a lot of budget options for this build. I know Abyssus is cheap, but it's also a fucking death sentence unless you're doing Atziri/Shaper. Don't wear it for anything else unless you like dying. Its damage completely unnecessary to rip through all content. I missed a couple helmet options during the video, such as a good rare or more eclectic choices like Heretic's Veil. You have a lot of cheap options.
I ran Tornado Shot in the video because it's what most people will use, and it's also fine in a 6L to use for everything. I wanted a demonstration that it functions well for top end mapping, too. Personally, I use Lightning Arrow in my helm's pseudo-6L, but TS works, too. You don't even need my helm enchant for LA to smash everything, as I used it prior to getting that.
Honestly, a +2 Barrage enchant is overkill and only for single target anyway. On Abyssus, it'll let you delete Shaper, and on anything else it would let you delete anything else. +2 Tornado Shot is substantially cheaper, like 1/3rd of the price, so sinking currency into a godly helmet enchant is up to you. If you can clear Guardians without dying of old age, you can basically "beat" the game.
Budget setup:
Doomfletch's Prism
Tabula Rasa/Corrupted 6L chest (get good colors)
Drillneck (normal)
Deidbell/Rat's Nest/Starkonja/Tempest's Binding (50c~ last I priced)
Meginord/rare Rustic Sash with Ele Damage
Rings with Phys+WED rolls (better rolls = more $)
Bloodgrip amulet (rare with Phys + WED)
Boots with life/res/movement (rare; Brinerot Whalers could work for damage)
Gripped Gloves (rare; physical, life, res--can get attack speed/ele damage)
5-7% life jewels with 1 damage stat
(Try to get 20% gems if you can, except Chance to Bleed--its quality has virtually no impact on our damage.)
If you have a 6L Doomfletch, Yriel's Fostering with a physical damage minion is a huge slab of damage, but the chest itself only offers high life as far as survival goes. Something like the aforementioned armors would give more damage. Kaom's Heart is purely a survival chest, and its contribution to your damage is small compared to what Yriel's can give (provided the little shit Ursa stays alive). I've killed Shaper without dying with Yriel's, so you don't need the extra HP to fight him.
Luxury items:
Kaom's Heart
+1 Arrow Drillneck
+2 Barrage/Tornado Shot projectile helm
6L Chest/second 6L Doomfletch
Dying Sun
Taste of Hate (if dying to physical, get this ASAP)
21+ level/quality gems
7% life + 2-3 damage stats
Godly rolled Steel Rings
While I'm level 95, the vast majority of my passives later on are heavily aimed towards life, rather than damage. You can also run this build as a Raider, but beware of the loss of effects from flasks. If you go that route and cap your resistances, drop Wise Oak and use Atziri's Promise for damage. Raider is likely a faster mapper, but I can't see it beating out Pathfinder for smashing bosses when setup properly.
Run your auras how you want, but I cover what I use. Hatred/Arctic Armour, and then minions. Decoy Totem is bae, and I love Blind for Guardians.
