Lillie has changed. She is determined to help her mother and wants to be a stronger version of herself. Gladion gives us the moon flute which is said to be able to summon a legendary pokemon when played alongside the sun flute. He also gives us a master ball. We head with Lillie to Pony Island, the last of the islands in Alola. We're looking for Poni Island's kahuna so that we can find the sun flute. Hapu's grandfather was the previous kahuna, so we go visit her. Hapu wants to take us to the ruins. Pokémon Sun and Moon are third person adventure turn-based RPGs that are only playable on the Nintendo 3DS. The player takes control of a customizable character who has just moved into the Alola Region, a region based off of Hawaii. Early on, the player is given a choice between three starters: Rowlet (the grass starter), Popplio (the water starter), and Litten (the fire starter). The player can catch a multitude of other Pokémon during wild encounters and battle against trainers to level them up so that they grow stronger, and, in some cases, evolve. This generation operates slightly differently than previous generations because Pokémon Sun follows the 3DS time, while Pokémon Moon takes place 12 hours ahead. There are also several Pokémon that are exclusive to each game, so players will have to trade in order to catch them all.
