POLICE BRUTALITY - Cops Slam Disabled Blind Man To The Ground Then Lie About It In Police Report

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- A legally blind man is speaking out after saying he was injured when a Little Rock police officer slammed him to the ground. It happened just before 4 p.m. on June 1. Eric Wilson had just left work and was walking home along 65th Street. Around that time, police say they got a call about someone fitting Wilson's description running away from or chasing someone and who appeared to be afraid. Wilson is legally blind and says he only sees shadows. He says he didn't know who was calling him. Wilson says the officers told him to put his hands behind his back before taking him to the ground. "I was trying to figure out what was going on and before I knew it, I was slammed to the ground," Wilson said. In a police report an officer said Wilson pulled away violently, causing him to lose grip and that he was afraid Wilson would hit him or his partner with the handcuff. Wilson and his lawyer Reggie Koch, say that's not what the video shows.
