Here's my cover of Pollyanna from Mother - one of my all time favorite game series. Thanks for listening! Here are the small bits of melodies sprinkled in: -“Home Sweet Home” (the slow, EB version of Pollyanna). -“Fourside” (same melody as "Because I Love You") in the middle section. I put it there instead of the original solos because it felt nice and nostalgic. -“Eight Melodies” plays in two waves (you'll see the Sound Stone video during. -“A small reference to "Onett” in the last bit before the end. Versions of Pollyanna are in each of the three MOTHER games. I love the optimism of this song. It’s like the lyrics/melody are barging into your room and demanding you to smile - I love it. :D DonutDrums is great to work with. I asked for the drums to sound like a mixture of the full band version of Pollyanna and the game version. He understood just what I meant by “video-gamey but also acoustic!” Thanks DD! I tried to find Ness cosplay at thrift stores, but couldn’t find anything- so the red headband and stripes were my tribute. I filmed gameplay from all 3 games since versions of Pollyanna are included in the whole series. When I play one of the melodies, the game corresponds with the part in game that you hear the song (like in my other medleys). :) All of my covers are done by ear; there are no sheets.
